This 16 hour course is required of any Illinois State resident or non-resident who wants to legally  carry a fiream concelaed. 16 hour instructor led classroom course with firing range qualification. This course is a NRA certified beginner shooting course for those who have never fired a gun. The training focuses on basic gun safety, maintenance, firearm familiarization and simple mechanics of shooting firearms. This one day 8 hour class will take anyone from beginner to winner quickly with hands-on exercises and target identification knowledge. After class we will schedule a day to meet at a local range for live fire familiarization of a revolver or semiautomatic handgun.

8 Hour course for retired or honorably discharged veterans. Training required for any citizen to carry a firearm legally under public law 98-63 (Illinois Concealed Carry Act). The class is a one day class focuing on legal requirements, law enforcement interaction and prohibited areas. No payments will be taken on the day of class.

This course is required training for individuals who want to enter the industry as security officers. The course covers basic security responsibilities, civil and criminal liability, laws of arrest, search and seizure, control techniques, report writing, fire safety, Illinois Criminal Code, public relations, terrorism and use of force.

Requires 20 hour basic security certification in order to register for this course. Course covers legal use of firearms, civil and criminal liability, misuse of firearms, storage, safety rules, care and cleaning. Instruction on ethical and moral considerations, arrest, search and seizure review and firing range practice.
